Czech designers - the winners of the 2011 Czech National Awards for Student Design

New G(o)ods is presented by the Czech Centre London in collaboration with the Czech-British Chamber of Commerce as a part of Czech Open 2012, a Czech cultural season in Islington celebrating London 2012 and Czech House location in Islington



Czech British Chamber of Commerce has invited the members and their guests to the opening party for New G(o)ods, the Czech participation at the Clerkenwell Design Week.
The party coincides with opening of the House of Detention, a Clerkenwell Design Week venue hosting a selection of other design shows.

The event is a part of Czech Open 2012, the Czech cultural season in Islington, March - August 2012. www.czechopen2012.com

 

New G(o)ods at the Clerkenwell Design Week (design)

A tour de force of young design, showcasing the work of the up-and-coming generation of Czech designers - the winners of the 2011 Czech National Awards for Student Design plus a selection of the best entries of the previous years. Through playful concepts and unique aesthetics, students of industrial design, architecture, graphic art and fashion design address social, technical and environmental issues and propose solutions related to the problems of aging populations.

Prototypes, models, and proposals will be on view in an innovative installation in the basement of the House of Detention, Sans Walk, Clerkenwell, London E18 1UW during the popular Clerkenwell Design Week.
