CZECH THE TRENDS is a series of economic discussions given by outstanding personalities who are specialists in their field. The series encompasses topics including, but not confined to, economic, financial market, business, trade and technological developments in the Czech Republic, the EU and on the international scene.
Tania le Moigne launched the Google Czech and Slovak offices in 2006 and 2010, respectively. She has been working in the IT industry and Internet world for most of her career with companies such as Abakus, HP and Digital Equipment on her CV. In 1994 she joined Microsoft, spending more than nine years in the Prague, Munich and London offices, where she held various managing positions in the areas of marketing, IP protection and enterprise strategy. In 2003 she started her own marketing and PR company - Le Moigne and in 2005 the company 4bambini which has been successfully bringing to market a series of games for small children that she develops, produces and markets herself. These games promote values such as good manners, safety and tolerance. In 2009 she was honored with the LUPA award for “Personality of the Czech Internet” and took first place in the major Czech business newspaper Hospodářské noviny award “Top 25 Women in Czech Business” in 2011. In 2012, Tania le Moigne was named as one of the Top 50 most influential women in the Czech Republic by Forbes Magazine. She is a long term supporter of Good Angel, co-operates with the European Leadership & Academic Institute and is a member of the Young President’s Organisation and the Aspen Institute Prague. Tania graduated from the University of Economics in Prague with a degree in Computer Science.
