Following the successful launch of his book in June 2011, CBCC members are invited to a theatre performance and informal stage debate based on the book by Tomáš Sedláček to take place at the Soho Theatre in London on 27th November.
The cast will feature Tomáš Sedláček, Lukas Hejlik and Alan Zaruba who will deliver a performance which has repeatedly sold out at the National Theatre in Prague, and has been touring nationally and internationally since.
300 pages of Tomáš Sedláček’s bestseller have been condensed into a performance taking the audience on an exciting journey across economic thinking. In this performance the viewers will see Gilgamesh, Epicuros and Adam Smith and hear the words of Moses and contemporary philosophers. Sedláček, named as one of the 2five hot minds in economics” by the Yale Economic Review, features as an actor and also as a provocative moderator of debate when the audience is engaged to co-define a new meaning for economics
This production is presented in cooperation with the Czech Centre and Techo UK.
