The Smetana Trio perform three Czech composers: the ensemble’s namesake’s trio (1855, revised 1857), Dvořák’s pupil and son-in-law Josef Suk’s 1902 work inspired by Julius Zeyer’s epic poem Vyšehrad and Martinů’s 1951 Third Piano Trio.
