A reception followed by screening of Kawasaki’s Rose, a film described as “A drama about family and politics, the role of memory in relationships, and that of jealousy, arrogance, love, loyalty and betrayal' was held in Riverside Studios, a unique arts and media centre on the banks of the River Thames in Hammersmith, West London.
The CBCC event was part of The New Czech Cinema Festival 2011 organised by the Czech Centre in London and was attended by Mr Jan Fischer, the former Prime Minister of the Czech Republic.
