HE Michael Zantovsky, Ambassador to the Czech Republic is pleased to invite the partner of the Czech Open 2012 Chamber of Czech British Commerce and its members to the launch and presentation of Czech Open 2012 and Czech House on Monday 12th March from 6.30 – 8.30pm at the Embassy of the Czech Republic, followed by a reception.
The event is designed to celebrate the London 2012 Olympic Games and the collaboration and exchange between Czech and Islington artists and communities, and the location and design of the official Czech House in Islington during the games.
Special guests representing the principal partners of both initiatives will include the Mayor of Islington, Councillor Troy Gallagher, lead member for Islington’s Olympics programme, Milan Jirasek, Chairman of the Czech Olympic Committee, Vaclav Novotny, Councillor of the City of Prague for Culture and Tourism and for International Relations, Jack Morris OBE, Chairman of the Business Design Centre and Ladislav Pflimpfl, Director of the Czech Centre, London.
