Tania le Moigne, Google´s Czech Republic Country Director opened Czech The Trend 2014 series with the highly interesting subject of communication technologies innovation.

The lecture hosted by the Czech Ambassador Michael Žantovský was called "Czech The Internet“.  Tania le Moigne discussed an interesting topic about how much our lives have been changed by the information technology by its recent innovations. In 2013, first time in the history, according to the Google statistics, more mobile phones and tablets were connected to the internet than ordinary desktops. Clouds and fast internet have influenced how people access and store information.  In the near future, cloud is expected to become the prevailing data storage option.

The story of Google in the Czech Republic is one of success. Since 2006 its share of the search engines market has increased from 9 to 55 per cent. The “Czech The Internet” lecture, visited by many CBCC members, took place at the Czech Embassy on April 3, 2014
